Lucky you, you’ve struck party gold! Celebrate the luck o' the Irish this year with a party worthy of being at the end of the rainbow. Saint Patrick’s Day is such a fun and energetic holiday, we wanted to set up a party that portrayed that energy. Read on to see how weThrew a Sham-rocking St. Patrick’s Day Party!
Your friends will surely be green with envy when they see your Saint Patrick's Day decorations. So we're going to make it easy for ya. With our tips and tricks, you'll be 'Dublin' your party attendance! Kicking off the decorations is a splendidly green balloon garland. This balloon garland has so many shades of green; it's a leprechaun's dream!
We have a Shamrock Balloon at the top of the balloon garland to add a touch of good luck to the party. Gold Letter Balloons drape beneath the balloon garland that spells out “#LUCKY.”
This table setting is the pot o’ gold you’ve been looking for! The Gold Sequin table runner lining the table will make you feel like you’ve already struck gold. Playing off of the gold accents, we’ve sprinkled plastic gold coins around the center of the table—but be careful, this may attract leprechauns!
Get the paddy started with this green and gold place setting! Each place setting has a Wavy Gold Dinner Plate that makes the Lucky You plate sitting on top pop. Next to the plates is the cutest napkin you’ll probably ever see! It has Green and Gold Rainbow Napkins scattered around with a gold-trimmed scalloped edge.
Atop the napkin is a set of Green and Gold Cutlery. This durable plastic cutlery set is top-rack dishwasher safe and reusable for other parties. You can use green and gold flatware for St. Patrick's Day (obviously), Cinco de Mayo, Christmas, and any different birthday party themes (like safari)!
So that each guest has options, everyone has two cups! We have a small Gold Cup filled with a green sports drink (a super easy, tasty way to add in some color) and a custom drink stirrer that we printed on the Glowforge. Next to the gold cup is a coffee cup that says "Cup O' the Irish." This cup has a lid, so when the shenanigans get a wee bit out of control, the drinks won't spill!
We placed a mint green cake stand in the middle of the table with cupcakes stuffed into Gold Confetti Baking Cups. We put little gold-wrapped candies on each store-bought cupcake for a little extra pop o' gold.
There are more desserts on either side of the cupcakes! We placed a smaller cake stand filled with green shamrock cookies on the left side, buying pre-made desserts is a quick and easy way to bring in the theme more and give your guests some tasty snacks.
To the right of the cupcakes, we have some rice crispy treats with St. Paddy's Day-themed sprinkles on top. We bought these already sprinkled. If you want to add some personalization, buy pre-made rice crispy treats, drizzle them with chocolate, and add your own sprinkles. We love finding quick party food hacks—there's no reason you need to be an expert party decorator AND a master chef!
We added some more luck to the table by scattering these Shamrock Napkins around. The pastel green is such a fun color to add on top of the table runner.
The final snack on this table is these green cake balls we found at the store. They were initially just cake balls, but we added a stick to turn them into cake pops. Any chance to add more green to this table, we’re taking it!
We hope you enjoyed these Saint Patrick’s Day party tips, we had so much fun putting this party together. Irish it could be St. Patrick’s Day every day! Stay tuned for more shenanigans and party tips. Save this blog so you canThrow a Sham-rocking St. Patrick’s Day Party!
