If you're looking to throw a baseball birthday, a baby shower for your little rookie of the year, or want to cheer on your favorite baseball team during the World Series, this is the perfect post for you!
In this post, you'll find all the party inspiration you need to throw a celebration for the baseball fan in your life. From red, white, and blue decorations to party food ideas and DIY baseball cookies, you'll Throw an All-Star Baseball Bash out of the ballpark!
Plus, we're sharing some of the best party tips and tricks to help you recreate your baseball party and linking to our sports party supplies.
So here is our baseball party setup to celebrate America's favorite pastime!
Above the main party, we have a balloon garland that matches the colors on the table. Integrated into the balloons are some stars from our Patriotic Star Pack. These fun DIY stars are perfect for any red, white, and blue home decor and have a unique 3D design, so they really stand out!
Give your baseball table an extra hit of spirit with a Home Run Pennant Banner. With red baseball stitching and a blue "Home Run" headline on a white watercolor flag, this pennant banner will bring so much class to your table decor! The pennant banner is in a vase of beautiful red and white flowers resting on top of a white cake stand. We love adding cake stands to a table setting because it (literally) elevates the decorations and adds more substance!
On the other two cake stands on the table, we have smaller bud vases with red flowers inside and cupcakes surrounding the vases. The cupcakes are store-bought vanilla cupcakes placed in Navy Baking Cups. The navy and white color stripes are perfect for our theme, but you could also use white or red. Picking a primary color food cup also means you could reuse any leftovers for future parties!
So many details about this party pay tribute to the all-American sport! The Patriotic Scalloped Square plates have a slightly vintage aesthetic that's a throwback to a simpler time. Layered on top are a Red Star Plate and a Baseball Plate. These plates look so natural together—they want you to pair them together!
Alternating with the red plate pair, we have a Blue Star Plate as another option for this sporty table setting.
Next to each place setting is a set of Navy and White Cutlery on top of an Americana Guest Towel. This cutlery is made from thick, durable plastic, making it reusable! And with them being a neutral color, they can be reused at any party, like the 4th of July or a nautical party.
We like to give options here. Alternating each place setting, we have a red or blue star cup that comes together in a Patriotic Cup Set.
Inside each cup, we added Gold Star Straws to simplify sipping and add a pop of gold to the table!
Dotting the table, we have mini red cake stands holding a Navy Baking Cup with some traditional Cracker Jacks inside. This sweet snack is a classic baseball treat staple that has to appear at any baseball party!
Another classic baseball snack is peanuts! We have these Stars and Stripes Treat Bags filled to the brim with whole peanuts ready to be cracked open and thrown on the ground—isn't that what you do at a baseball game?
You can also add other classic baseball snacks to these bags, such as popcorn, Big League Chew bubble gum, pretzels, and snack mix. The options are endless!
The whole table setting is on top of a Grass Table Runner that pays tribute to the elusive baseball fields every little kid wants to play on. Set this table runner up on the dining table like we did here or at the drink station or snack bar!
If you're having a baseball birthday for your little one or a team celebration after a win, a fun craft for the kiddos is decorating their baseball cookie!
We got store-bought icing for our DIY baseball cookies, but we recommend making your own—it's much tastier and cleaner. Here's a yummy recipe for your icing.
First, we spread white icing all over the cookie, then lined the cookie with red icing to make the baseball stitching. Decorating cookies is a fun activity for the kids, plus they enjoy their cookies afterward. If you try this at your party, tag us in your finished cookies on Instagram!
That wraps up this post on how we threw a baseball bash. We hope you found incredible inspiration and unique finds for your party. Baseball is a fantastic sport and a classic party theme for boys and girls.
