Throw a Turkey-tastic Thanksgiving

Gobble gobble, friends! The holiday of being thankful, grateful, and blessed is quickly approaching, which means it's time to start thinking about how you're going to celebrate! With fun ideas for a dessert table and the traditional "kids table" (you know what I mean), you will have all the turkey tools you need to Throw a Turkey-tastic Thanksgiving for all your friends and family!

BALLOONS, BANNERS AND BACKDROPS

When setting up for a big bash of any kind, you need to have a fun backdrop. Balloons and banners are the perfect wall decoration to pumpkin-spice up your food tables! For our Thanksgiving backdrop, we used a festive balloon garland enhanced with our harvest turkey and pom pom banner set and harvest give thanks banner set. Stringing colorful banners across balloon garlands is an easy way to add some dimension and creativity to your backdrop! 

TURKEY TABLE SETTING

The table setting is an essential part of your Thanksgiving celebration—where else would you gobble up all the delicious food?! So we catered to a kids' tablescape, but there's no age limit to enjoying these adorable turkey plates. Our harvest turkey plates can easily be placed inside these beautiful harvest word charger plates to give the kids more room to load up on turkey and stuffing. 

We have reusable gold and white cutlery at every place setting and an orange oak leaf napkin to wipe up all the inevitable spills! When your little turkeys get thirsty, they can drink hot or cold beverages out of these Thanksgiving turkey mini coffee cups and fall stay cozy mini coffee cups. Using two sets of cups adds variety to your festive table.

FESTIVE TABLE DECOR

For some extra charm, we added some adorable turkey crackers to the table to act as a decoration, and a fun treat for after dinner. We also scattered some beautiful gold and white confetti around the center of the table to tie it all together. Just add a table runner if you want to avoid a glittery mess. A table runner will add an element of color and protect your table from the messy kids feast! 

THANKSGIVING DESSERT IDEAS 

Don't worry. We haven't forgotten the most crucial part of the Thanksgiving table setting—the food! We used a large cake stand to display a delicious pumpkin pie in the middle of the kid's table. Pies are a traditional fall treat that everyone will love. We decorated the pie with colorful leaf cookies that we found at our local grocery store. Cookies are a fun, simply way to turn an ordinary pie into a gorgeous masterpiece. 

We have tons of sweet options layered around the dessert table, all tied together with our give thanks and turkey and pom pom banners lining the front. Arranged on small cake stands at each end, mini pecan pies and pumpkin sandwich cookies make easy treats for guests to grab. 

The main attraction is our adorable turkey baking cups in the center of the table. Baking cups are perfect for cupcakes, mini cakes, or even just a small bowl to fill with some fun snack mix. In addition, we have two cake stands sitting on top of each other to create a cupcake display that will draw in all who approach the table! 

THANKSGIVING DINNER PARTY FAVORS

We put our fun feathered turkey paper hats on each chair to decorate and provide an accessory that your guests can wear or keep as a party favor! You can also add these hats to the center of any table to be a friendly face people see when stuffing their plates with seconds (or thirds).

We scattered some extra goodies around the table, like the turkey crackers, for a fun surprise. Each cracker has small prizes inside that your guests can take home. 

Another fun holiday favor is the thanksgiving mini coffee cups. Mini coffee cups add a cute element to a hot chocolate bar and help prevent spills with the plastic lids. Guests can fill their cups with whatever sweet sips they desire and take their drinks to-go! You can also pair these cups with a small hot cocoa mix to give to teachers or friends during the holiday season. 

Layering the tables is a fun way to save space and create a display that will capture the attention of all your guests.
