Are you looking for a fun Valentine's party to host for your best gals? How about a Galentine's Day Party. Whether you are entertaining your mom friends or your daughter's girlfriends, this theme is sure to be a hit.

PARTY SUPPLIES

The inspiration for this party setup was the Love Notes paper goods made by Daydream Society. The bright and cheerful icons in neon pinks, black and metallic gold pair well with the neon pink gingham and stripes party goods. I also wanted to give it a little glam and add in some gold details with the larger metallic gold plates and the scallop gold cups.

PARTY BACKDROP

The balloons heart seemed perfect for this Galentine's party backdrop. It was my first time to make a backdrop with balloons in the shape of a heart. I found several different tutorials on how to make, but I ended up just using heavy clear packing tape to affix the balloons to the shiplap wall. I then used low heat glue to add the balloons on top. Surprisingly, it has stayed on the wall for at least two days now.

If you have a painted sheetrock wall, then you would probably want to make a heart outline form made from cardboard or foamboard. You can find this tutorial on my friend, Andressa's site, Twinkle Twinkle Little Party.

I made the custom gold glitter banner using glitter cardstock and cutting with my Cricut die-cut machine. I used the font Bebas for this modern word banner. The letters are each about 6" tall.

PARTY FOODS

The food for this Galentine's party setup was simple and all sweet! I made strawberry cupcakes using our gold dotsbaking cups. Did you know that you can bake right in these cups without greasing? The paper won't burn or discolor.

I used a store brand neon pink frosting with sugar sprinkles and topped off with these bright & merry heart toppers.

These festive Valentine's icon cups are filled with white chocolate covered pretzels mixed with pink conversation hearts. You don't always have to use cups for drinks especially when the cups are so adorable and deserve a spot on the sweets table display.

valentine's day drinks

A pink drink is always a good choice for Valentine's Day. I served the kiwi strawberry flavored sparkling water made by Sparkling Ice. It's a good and refreshing drink that is not too sweet and contains zero sugar.

This pink drink is finished off with a bright pink striped paper straw and a neon heart stir stick. Pretty and all disposable to save you time with clean up.

I added these pretty heart shaped plates as part of the table centerpiece. Filled with candy pearls and topped off with cherry flavored Tootsie Roll pops in coordinating party colors.

PARTY FAVORS

A Valentine's party isn't complete without party favors! These paper boxes are perfect for small treats like popcorn. Just add an embellishment like this glitter heart, wrap in a cellophane bag, and add a pretty ribbon to finish it off. SO CUTE and simple!

Another fun party favor, especially for kids, is temporary tattoos like these adorable Love Notes tattoos that match the paper goods.
