Donut Grow Up First Birthday Party Ideas
Are you looking for a fun and simple theme for your daughter's 1st birthday party? One of my favorite party themes is Donut Grow Up. It is so easy to put together too. Believe me; you donut want to miss this post with some great ideas for this yummy birthday celebration!
PARTY BACKDROP
Balloon garlands are so popular and make the cutest backdrops. For this donut theme party, we used light pink, rose pink, and white latex balloons in both 5" and 11". Check out the blog post about how to make a simple balloon garland for your next party.
I arched this balloon garland to create space for the giant donut sprinkles balloon to fit in the center of the backdrop. It looks so cute behind the cake.

Everyone expects donuts at a donut party, because who doesn't love donuts! 🍩 💕 There are so many different types of donuts, flavors of icing, toppings, and fillings to choose. Some easy donuts to find at grocery stores and bakeries are glazed donuts, cake donuts, and donut holes!
There are several cute ways to display donuts. If you'd like, you can create a board backdrop with pegs to place the donuts on. Platters and cakes stands are an easy solution to stack and display donuts. You can also place donut holes in sprinkled snack cups or treat cups which are ready for a scoop of ice cream or to add more toppings.
You can add some simple cupcakes with sprinkles for an alternative dessert besides donuts. Dress cupcakes up in these pink and white striped baking cups to match the partyware!
Another alternative dessert to serve are some donut-shaped iced cookies frosted to match the party colors. Aren't they so cute?!
