A Dreadfully Delightful Wednesday Addams Party

We're taking a break from our cute, groovy, pink Halloween party inspiration to bring you a little sinister and macabre. Wednesday Addams has become popular lately, thanks to the Netflix show Wednesday. And we're here for the deliciously dark esthetic, making it perfect for an Anti-Valentine's Day Party, a Wednesday birthday, or a Halloween party.

Natalie Mayhew, @fernandmaplestyle on Instagram, styled a Wickedly Wonderful Wednesday Addams party, and we are enamored with the details! Combining supplies from Festive Fetti, Oh My Darling Party Co, and Wednesday decorations from our collection, we're sharing her Wednesday party ideas to turn your home into a dreadful delight!

THE BACKDROP & DESSERT TABLE

Natalie used a black and white fringe backdrop to set the scene. The monochromatic touches bring the Wednesday vibes to life. Then, an all-black cake is in the center of the table, surrounded by giant furry spiders. This is enough to make anyone run in fear!

THE CENTERPIECES

The consistency of black and white decorations on the table stays true to the gruesome, ghastly aesthetic of the Addams family. For centerpieces, Natalie got creative! She painted black and white striped pumpkins and dipped white candles in black for a morbid style. But the black floral arrangement with black dahlias steals the show. Black dahlias are Wednesday's favorite flower, AND the name of her favorite unsolved murder!

THE PLACE SETTING

Natalie layered spiderweb placemats, Black and Cream Scalloped Plates, and an Academy Emblem Scalloped Plate on top for each place setting. Sitting on top of two plates are the creepy companion, "Thing," and a miniature cello in a blood-red case with a bloody knife in its string. The remaining plates include a RIP coffin tray for an extra spot to store delicious goodies. 

Next to each place setting, she added a Black and White Striped Guest Towel and a Be Afraid Cocktail Napkin. Guests can enjoy mess-free snacking with a grim combination of napkins. Black and White Reusable Cutlery add to the shadowy look—ideal for meals and cake.

These Black Lapel Paper Cups mimic the iconic attire Wednesday is known for. Natalie paired them with a Black and White Striped Straw that completes the ensemble. These straws are made of durable plastic and are reusable, so there's no need to throw them away after one use! You can easily swap the paper cups for wine glasses if you're setting up for an adult Wednesday Birthday Party.

THE TABLE SCATTER

The talented Brenda from Festive Fetti created custom confetti to match this Wednesday theme. With cutouts of the iconic cello, Thing, spiders, and black and white shreds, Natalie scattered it across the table to delight any fan of the dark and dramatic.
