Groovy Halloween Party Ideas for a Disco Ghouls Night

Hey, ghoul friends! We're so excited for all the Halloween festivities to begin, and we know you are, too. This time, we're bringing the dance floor to life with groovy Halloween decorations!

With a bright orange and pink color palette to disco balls and the grooviest plates, this Halloween theme is such a vibe. HIPPIE HALLOWEEN BACKDROP & BOO-LOONS

We love using wooden arches for backdrops! Arches add so much dimension and height to those Instaworthy photos. Plus, you can easily paint and reuse them for any occasion! 

This time, we used black and pink arches to craft this stunning disco Halloween backdrop and decked it out with Halloween and disco decorations. A Disco Ball Fringe Curtain hangs over the black arch—the dark background allows the iridescent disco balls to pop! Then a Spooky Felt Banner is strung across the pink arch, with Black Wall Decor Bats flying around.

Our Halloween balloon arch includes bright pink, orange, and white latex balloons that coordinate with our theme's colors. For an extra groovy touch, we added Disco Ball Balloons.

We decorated the walls with Silver Spider Web Decorations, then stuck Peace Sign Plates in the middle, turning an eerie Halloween decoration into a more fitting vibe.

How cute are these hippie Hanging Ghosts Decorations? She's rockin' a groovy flower crown! The ghosts come without the crown. However, we wanted the ghosts to match our theme. Using real carnations and daisies left over from our floral centerpieces, we hot-glued the flowers on to resemble a flower headband. You can also use fake flowers or cut up a flower lei necklace you find at the store. There are so many simple and creative ways to elevate decorations!

GROOVY HALLOWEEN TABLE DECORATIONS

As always, we like to line our table first, creating a flawless backdrop for all our tableware. Since we're using lots of pink and orange party supplies, we wanted a table runner that let the rest of the decorations pop, so we used this black Boo Table Runner. And an added bonus: it's doubling as protection from spills!

Our Halloween tablescape is full of treats and trinkets. Each place setting has a Pink and Orange Checked Lunch Plate as a base layer with a dessert plate on top. Some seats have a Peace Sign Dessert Plate, while the others have a Groovy Ghost Plate, which is the star of the show! We love to mix and match plates, napkins, and cups to add dimension and style. Plus, these plates are too cute to only use one!

To wipe sticky hands and clean up small spills, we included a Trick or Treat Guest Towel and a Pink and Orange Candy Corn Napkin for each guest, ensuring a spooky and sweet time. Everyone also gets a set of Black Reusable Cutlery to make eating those Halloween snacks easier.

Say "hello" to this boo-tiful Ghost Coffee Cup! The cup features a shy ghost, a sleeve showing the ghost holding a pumpkin bucket, and comes with white lids to prevent spills and add extra convenience. 

Seasonal to-go cups are a cute and spooky way to enjoy your favorite hot or cold drinks on the go. You can even include them in your Halloween hot chocolate bar or take them trick-or-treating on Halloween night.

We're using these coffee cups as regular cups, so we included a Black and White Striped Straw and a disco ball stir stick. The black and silver colors tie into the rest of the table. 

For a more kid-friendly option, we included these Reusable Candy Corn Tumblers. Not only do they come with an orange straw and spill-proof lid, but they match the candy corn napkins on the table. And the best part. Little ghouls and goblins can take these candy corn favor cups home to enjoy again!

Make sure to add some extra groovy vibes to your party! We positioned 4-inch disco balls and assorted mini disco balls around the table for extra dazzle and glamour. These mirrored disco balls are reusable and can be used for various occasions, including disco birthdays, disco bachelorette parties, and New Year's Eve parties.

HALLOWEEN TREATS, NOT TRICKS

BOO! These Ghost Treat Boxes are so versatile it's scary! This set of twelve favor boxes comes with four ghost face designs. While we used them as vases to hold our floral arrangements, you can fill them with chips, popcorn, or snack mix so guests can snack on the go and take home a tasty Halloween party favor. Alternatively, fill them with candy to hand out to neighborhood trick-or-treaters.

If you need a tiered cake stand or more space on the table, try stacking cake stands! Not only does this free up table space, but it adds height and eye-catching appeal. We've placed a large white cake stand at the base and added a smaller pink one on top. We arranged cupcakes on the bottom in Spooky Cute Baking Cups and added flowers and a disco ball to the top. Of course, you can fill the top layer with more desserts in treat cups! 

Our best ghoul, Objection Confections, baked these hippie Halloween sugar cookies—they're almost too cute to eat! These cookies come in fun shapes and designs, including candy corn, groovy ghosts, disco balls, and a checkered pattern that reads "Hippie Halloween." We love getting custom sugar cookies to complement table decor and provide an additional dessert for guests to nibble on during the party.
