Tips for Throwing a Tropical Flamingo Party
Summer is officially here and it is the perfect time to throw a tropical themed party. Flamingos are all the rage for summer bridal showers, bachelorette parties or any other summertime celebration! So, let's flamingle!
To throw a festive flamingo party, you need some cute paper goods like these What the Flock? napkins. Use for cocktail drinks or desserts.
Don't forget about drinks! These flamingo print cups are so cute when finished off with flamingo stir sticks and gold metallic straws. Just add your favorite tropical drink or these cute mini champagne bottles.
If you are looking for a fun but simple idea for a backdrop, then use a mix of colored balloons with a themed balloon. I used this giant flamingo balloon along with this small balloon garland and added some tropical leaves. I also made the wooden laser cut "let's flamingle" sign to finish off the backdrop.
Simple party foods from the local grocery bakery are always my go-to for starting a sweets table. I got some yummy and inexpensive sweets at the Walmart bakery: sour cream bundt cake, coconut donuts, mini sugar cookies, mini vanilla cupcakes, mini coffee cakes, popcorn, and Rice Krispies treats.
I placed the coconut donuts on a platter and added some grated coconut and topped off with these festive palm tree picks.
This flamingo cupcake kit worked perfectly for displaying the mini cupcakes. The rose gold metallic liners with palm trees and pink & blush flamingo toppers turn these plain vanilla cupcakes into a festive display.
Themed cake toppers are an easy way to decorate a plain cake. I used the flamingo and palm tree cake topper set but also used some small Monstera leaves under the cake.
